Bomburuella

I'm gonna share with you about one of the most spectacular waterfalls. This charming waterfall is located in the Peravella village of Uva Paranagama. Bomburuella is one of the most gorgeous waterfalls I have ever seen. This waterfall is also called the Peravella Falls. We went to see the falls from Welimada Road. Anyone coming from this road has to come 15 km to see the falls. If you are coming from Nuwara Eliya, no need to come to Welimada. you can turn left from the Rendapola junction. Even if a large number of people come to visit Boburuella, there is a large parking area. you can park your vehicle without any problem. There are various food and drink shops on both sides of the road. From the ticket issuing point, we have to go about 1 1/2 km to the waterfall. Best if you avoid weekends, rainy days and holidays. Sigiriya

Sigiriya is an ancient palace built on the top of a rock. The entrance to this rock was shaped like a lion`s mouth. Therefore this rock was called Sinha Giri or Sigiriya. It is one of the wonders in the world. Sigiriya was listed as the world heritage site by the UNESCO in 1982. Sigiriya is in the central province of Sri Lanka. It is situated 10 miles off Dambulla in the district of Mathale. Sigiriya was built by king Kashyapa in 5th century. It is a historical as well as place of tourist attraction. Sigiriya is considered as the oldest planned city with a fortress of king Kashyapa. This steep rock is 600 feet in height. King Kashyapa ruled from there for eighteen years.
